Oil paintings and sculptures from Chinese
artists getting more popular as China open
up to the world more and more not only by
selling goods.
They also soaked
up western ideas in various art forms, but
the normal paintings of today usually are
not abstract, they reflect the daily life
and Buddhism.

its influence on western ideas and vice
versa. E.g. French impressionism and
Austrian art nouveau (Klimt) have been
influenced by Japanese paintings.
Japan brought
not only new forms of visual arts but
ceramics as well to together with famous
Chinese ceramics; it’s a coming and going of
new ideas.
Malaysia Batik Paintings
